Cooperative Ecology Education

coeco-logo

Cooperative Ecology™ (CoEco™) is a field of study that focuses on learning about and actively working to enhance the degree of healthy cooperation between life forms. It particularly emphasizes how to logically make more constructive decisions related to the impact that each of us has on each other and the natural world. With this concept, we are seeking to instill in people an understanding that all life is interdependent, and that the decisions you make affect those around you and the natural world, and then, in turn, circle back to affect your own health and quality of life. The essence of the concept is described in our tag line: Because None Survive Alone!

We invite members of industry, governments, schools and all professions to embrace this program and work with us to implement Cooperative Ecology across every sector of society. Help us to bring about a new era of constructive decision making.

CoEco Underlies Everything We Do

The terms “Cooperative Ecology” and CoEco were created by Lawrence Anthony and contain the basic principles that drive our organization. Basically, operating from the viewpoint of CoEco demonstrates that all life does best when it works together with other life for their mutual enhancement and support. When this concept is implemented, it better connects everyone to nature, and is a way of getting people to better co-operate with each other and the natural world around them.

As more people embrace Cooperative Ecology, it positively impacts the quality of their decisions across all areas of their lives – their work, their financial choices, their relationships, their community activities, and their interaction with the natural world.

Whether we are educating government officials on the most efficient ways to supplement community water supplies, or raising industry awareness of the most effective methods of toxic spill cleanup, or instructing children in how to more constructively operate in life through our school and homeschool courses and CoEco Ambassador Program (see below), the principles of finding ways to cooperatively work together underlie the message we forward.

Educational Resources

LAEO is regularly creating new educational publications and programs to infuse Cooperative Ecology thinking throughout society. Through publications designed for specific groups – government officials, various industries, commerce, science and academia, and youth – we are expanding our outreach to share and teach Cooperative Ecology as a vital, operating concept for each of us.

We believe that getting this information understood and used broadly may be one of the only guarantees that humanity will be able to reverse the steep decline of our societal relationships, the environment, and the Plant and Animal Kingdoms. Our CoEco Ambassador Program

It is a fundamental truth that, to the degree that each of us better understands Nature and the value of Cooperative Ecology as a tool for constructive decision making, the world will be a far safer, happier and healthier place to live. Our CoEco Ambassador Program is designed to help people understand and apply this concept in their own lives and give them the tools they need to be able to help others apply the concept in theirs, all with the purpose of bringing about a better world for people and animals.
