Zip Line Adventure

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I’m scared of heights. But I had forgotten about this when I agreed to go Zip Lining through the jungle along with my wife Rochell and some our tour group. It wasn’t until I was standing on the relatively tiny platform of our first launching point looking down upon the yawning depths below that my phobia kicked in and this suddenly seemed like a really stupid idea.

I quickly volunteered to go back and wait for everyone when I was informed that there is no going back. There is only leaping off into certain death on the jungle floor. Its leap, die, repeat about 8 to 10 times until we are safely reincarnated back in our bodies at the Karkloof Canopy Tours storefront some infinity of time later.  No big deal.

As you can see from these pictures, I did manage to survive and everyone else assures me they loved it and found my antics where I pretended to be terrified most amusing. The Zulu peoples living nearby now speak of some screaming fat blue creature once seen flying through the treetops. This is how legends begin.[/vc_column_text][mk_gallery images=”640,639,638,636″ column=”2″ hover_scenarios=”slow_zoom” item_spacing=”2″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
