Eco Safari to South Africa
June 30 - July 11
Join us for our spectacular Eco Safari starting on June 30th till July 11th. We’ll meet up in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. From there we will follow the beautiful Garden Route west that follows the southern most part of the continent, stopping at several Game Reserves and staying in beautiful hotels with hot springs! From the Cango Caves to the Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary we’ll make our way through this beautiful region for 4 nights. From there we fly to Durban and stay in a charming hotel in a nearby beach town called Umhlanga Rocks. We’ll spend a full day at The Earth Organization’s Private Game reserve called Mayibuye, a 50/50 partnership with a local Zulu tribe, to hear about the creation of this magnificent property and project, recently named a “Model Program for Wildlife Conservation and Economic Empowerment” by the South African President’s Cabinet.
From there we’ll spend 4 nights in the 4-star Private Game Reserve, Thula Thula, a beautiful, no-kill, exclusive game reserve created by our Founder, Lawrence Anthony. We’ll go out on morning and afternoon game drives and/or bush walks to view the abundance of wildlife there, including the legendary elephant herd that befriended him and that he made famous in his bestselling book “The Elephant Whisperer”.
Join us! We’d love to have you be part of this spectacular educational safari.
